About FX Sails
FX Sails is the online sailmaker with the service of a local loft. We want to design and build the sail you need, and create such a great experience that you sing our praises to friends and family. We can only do that if we build quality sails, provide expert advice, offer reasonable prices and deliver on the promises we make.
FX Sails offers two grades of custom mainsails and headsails, using cloth from Contender and Challenge, and we'll help you decide which is right for you. Our Inshore Sails, perfect for daysailing and short jaunts along the coast, carry a 3-year warranty. Our Offshore Sails are as tough as they come and feature a 5-year warranty.
FX Sails designs and builds custom asymmetrical and tri-radials spinnakers in addition to our pre-sized line of cruising spinnakers for the cost-conscious sailor. You'll also discover a complement of premium, pre-sized storm sails, sunfish sails and optimist sails.
The FX Sails team has the experience and background to ensure you're getting professional advice and design with every sail. Our Sail Consultant has squeezed more water out of his socks than most sailors have ever sailed across — 37 years of cruising and racing. Sandy Goodall, FX Design consultant, has 30 years sailmaking experience and is the former technical director and head of design for Elvström Sails Denmark.
