1) Maximum Luff Length:
Attach the tape measure to the Headsail halyard and hoist the halyard to it's maximum hoist position. Measure down to the tack attachment at the bow.

2) Maximum Leech Length:
Leave the tape hoisted in the position used for measurement #1 and measure to the front edge of the headsail track. You will wrap the tape around the outside of the the shroud to take this measurement.

3) Track Length:
Measure the length of the Headsail sheet track.

4) Track to Tack Shackle:
Measure from the tack attachment at the bow to the front edge of the Headsail track.

5) Hanks or Luff Foil:
If you have a headfoil unit, which type and model number.

6) Desired Clew Location:
Select one. Low for high performance sails. Medium (lifeline height). High (boom height).

9) Luff Perpendicular (LP):
Enter the LP for your headsail. For example, 110%, 135% or 150%.



10) J Measurement:
J is the base of the foretriangle measured along the deck from the headstay pin to the front of the mast.
